In a Nutshell

Dawn lives to inspire entrepreneurs to walk in their purpose and build out their visions. Dawn leverages her product development, fundraising, and brand building experience to help early-stage founders achieve liftoff. 

 

Named one of Washington, D.C.'s Tech Titans by the Washingtonian and one of Washington's top 21 founders to watch by The Washington Business Journal, Dawn has negotiated partnerships with and secured funding from the world's top manufacturers including Dow, Proctor and Gamble, Sephora, and Glossier for her patented technologies in the hair and personal care space.

Dawn is a startup eco-system architect, having launched and managed educational programming for entrepreneurs throughout the Washington metropolitan area. As former Director to Black Girl Ventures and Director at The Vinetta Project, a national 501(c)(3), Dawn has developed seminars, bootcamps, and accelerator programming for up and coming founders of color. 

Having been featured in Washington Business Journal, Essence, Black Enterprise, In Style, Teen Vogue, and Refinery 29, Dawn teaches founders how to lay a sound foundation, build the relationships they need to thrive, and access capital using non-traditional strategies.
